The book contains diverse mathematics-related material, covering both historical topics and practical exercises. The introduction provides an overview of the book's content and objectives. The following chapters focus on famous mathematicians—Thales, Pythagoras, Euclid, Hypatia, and Archimedes—featuring presentations, posters, and exercises about them. A separate section is dedicated to the connections between mathematics and music, as well as geometric patterns, including tessellations, fractals, and various spirals (Pythagorean, Theodorus, and Golden Ratio spirals). The book also explores the relationship between mathematics and recycling and introduces tangram as a tool for developing geometric thinking. At the end of the book, there are teacher-created learning tasks and students' practical projects.

This book contains materials created as part of the Erasmus+ cooperation project "Ancient Greek Mathematicians Today and the Use of STEAM in Teaching." It includes materials created by teachers and students, as well as student work from the project meetings.
The project "Ancient Greek Mathematicians Today and the Use of STEAM in Teaching." aims to improve the quality of mathematics learning through the implementation of STEAM, the use of digital technology, the use of modern teaching methods and tools, and the provision of new extracurricular knowledge through the development of skills such as entrepreneurship, problem solving and creativity.
1) Popularization of mathematics and science;
2) Development of digital skills, distribution and compilation of materials,
3) Use of new technologies;
4) Cooperation.
