Planter (AR Modeling Challenge)

In this GeoGebra Augmented Reality modeling challenge, our goal is to author 2 surface equations (with domain restrictions) to model the pottery piece shown in the screencast below. [br][br]Modeling Clues: [br][br]1) The pink surface is a frustum of a cone. [br] Cross sections of this surface and any plane parallel to z = 0 are circles.[br] This cone has its apex at (0, 0, 1). [br] The radius of the wider opening = [math]\sqrt{3}[/math]. [br] The radius of the smaller opening = [math]\frac{17\sqrt{10}}{10}[/math]. [br][br]2) The blue surface is part of an ellipsoid with center (0,0,0).[br] The vertices of this ellipsoid are located [math]\frac{9\sqrt{15}}{75}[/math] units away from its center. [br] No domain restrictions were used for this surface. [br]
