Octangularity

Inspired by another one of @tilman's Geometry Dailies. http://bit.ly/GD405 The octagon is the root of many beautiful Islamic art tilings, and I thought this got at some of the questions those artists had to deal with. This sketch looks at a continuum of embedded Octagons. I made the inner rings of octagons using the Dilation and Sequence commands.
