Midpoint of a Line Segment (or Two Coordinates)

Extending this idea of finding mid-values to coordinates, we then have the following:[br][br]Given [math]A(x_1,y_1)[/math] and [math]B(x_2,y_2)[/math], the coordinates, C, of the midpoint of AB is [br][br][center][math]C=\left(\frac{x_1+x_2}{2},\frac{y_1+y_2}{2}\right)[/math][/center][br]For example, if we have A(-1,-2) and B(3,4), then the midpoint of AB is [math]\left(\frac{-1+3}{2},\frac{-2+4}{2}\right)=\left(1,1\right)[/math]
