In this activity students explore how a circle's decreasing radius impacts the intersection point between the circle and another fixed circle. Students are guided through the steps needed to complete the problem, and can access helpful hints as needed. The steps in the solution practice many Algebra II and Precalculus skills, and there is even an extension to practice some Calculus ideas.
