Students can move a point along a function. At each point the tangent line and its slope are displayed. A trace is made of the slope of the tangent as a function of the x-value of the point. So a graph of the derivative of a function is generated by moving a point along a function and graphing the slope of the tangent line at each point. New functions can be entered in the "input" box.
