Correlation as the Cosine of an Angle

Another view of correlation. Take the points and standardize them. Write the x-coordinates as a vector, and the y-coordinates as a vector. The cosine of the angle formed by these two vectors is the correlation. The line in the xy-coordinate plane is the LSRL. Be certain to tilt and rotate the view to see it from other angles.
