Properties of Tangents

This applet allows for students to easily & informally discover 2 properties (theorems) of tangents drawn to circles: 1) If a line is tangent to a circle, then it is perpendicular to the radius of that circle drawn to the point of tangency. 2) Tangent segments drawn to a circle (from a point outside the circle) are congruent.
