Secant and Tangent Line Slopes

An applet for investigating a specific question asked by a student about the slope of secant and tangent lines to functions. The question was asked as follows: "Is it true that the slope of the secant line AB is always equal to the slope of the tangent line to the midpoint C (based on x-values)?"
