Crossing Wires Problem

There are two poles that have wires running from their tops to the base of the other pole. The wires cross at point C. First set the heights of poles A and B using the sliders. Then move slider n to vary the distance between the poles. It seems that no matter how far apart the poles are, the height of point C is constant. 1- Can you prove it? 2- If you know the values of a and b, can you predict the height of C?
