I designed this applet for my Algebra II students. The focus of the applet is to introduce students to quadratic equations written in vertex form, a(x-h)^2 + k. The sliders allow students to discover how the graph of a parabola is affected as each parameter (i.e., a, h, and k) is changed. Also, the applet includes eight graphs, which can be switched "on" or "off", by using check boxes. Students can try to "match" each graph by using the sliders.
