Yardwork in Segments

In Mathematics Vision Project, Secondary Math II, task 6.6 you are asked to find points on line segments that divide the segments into given ratios. You can use the hypotenuse of this right triangle to represent those segments. How can you use the rubber band stretcher to help you visualize the location of the x- and y-coordinates of the point that divides the hypotenuse segment into a given ratio?
