Rolling without Slipping

Rolling without slipping is a common type of motion that falls in the category of "general plane motion." This lessons illustrates that general plane motion can be separated into translational motion and rotation about a fixed axis. And that total general plane motion is the vector sum or translational motion and rotational motion about a fixed axis.
