This applet simply displays the graph [math]y=\ln(x)[/math] and the graph of the gradient function [math]y=\frac{1}{x}[/math] to help students visualise the connection between the two. It can be used as part of an introduction to natural logarithm and its derivative in the A-level Core 3 module.
