This is a solution using the similarity of a simple polynomial expression to an elliptical equation, and using a unique representation that is exactly equal, but involves trigonometry instead of factoring. It also gives you the "angle" all simple complex polynomials relate to. The end game is to ultimately find out how I can reliably relate complex numbers and ellipses to regular functions to help with visualization by using the resulting angle's properties.
