With the help of this activity, we have learnt that:
If a line is drawn parallel to one side of a triangle and it intersects the other two sides at distinct points, the other two sides get divided in the same ratio.
If two sides of a triangle are divided in the same ratio then the line segment got by joining these two points is parallel to the third side.
