This is an applet that allows students to investigate f(x) = a(b^x) by using sliders to change the parameters a and b. The goal is to lead the students to a conjecture about equations of functions that are exponential growth and exponential decay. Students should be able to recognize graphs of exponential growth and decay before this lesson.
