A Triangle Investigation

Students will investigate how changes in the dimensions of a square affect the perimeter and the area of the square. Students will write a conjecture explaining how the change in the length of the side affects the perimeter and area of the square. Students will show algebraically that the conjecture is true. Students will investigate to determine, if the conjecture holds true for all polygons. Students will share their findings with the class.
