Dissecting a triangular prism into 3 equal-volume pyramids
Demonstration of the basis for the volume formula for a pyramid. This demonstration shows that for any triangular based prism the formula holds. Cavalieri's principle can then be used to extend this result to pyramids of other base shapes.
