60-foot BMX Jump - Will he make it?
An application of quadratics, students manipulate the sliders to see the effects of transformations on a quadratic in vertex form. Students make predictions as to whether or not he will successfully complete the jump then watch the accompanying youtube video to see if their predictions were correct.
