This applet involves a parabola construction on top of an "Angry Birds" image. Users must move the directrix and focus in order to create new parabolas that will go through the bird in the slingshot and any given pig on the right side of the screen. The academic goal of this activity is to introduce/reinforce the concepts of the directrix and focus of a parabola.
