The creation of this resource is framed on an paper written by Navarro, Prieto and Ortiz, which is currently in publication process. We consider with this resource it is possible to comprehend the concept of vector and the operations between them, such as sum and sustraction. Besides, we propose their study in the the context of a situation from the real life, specifically with the pool game (a variant of billiards), which we think represents an advantage, because that way students can identify the relationship between mathematics and real world in the sense of its application to solve problems.
La creación de este recurso está enmarcada en un artículo de investigación escrito por Navarro, Prieto y Ortiz que se encuentra en proceso de publicación. Consideramos que con este recurso es posible comprender el concepto de vector y las operaciones entre éstos, como lo son la suma y la resta. Además, proponemos su estudio en el contexto de una situación de la vida real, específicamente con el juego de pool (una variante del billar), lo cual consideramos representa una ventaja ya que de esta manera el estudiante puede identificar la relación entre la matemática y el mundo real en el ámbito de su aplicación para resolver problemas.
