Connected Rates of Change (Example 1)

This activity allows teachers and students to graphically observe the concept of connected rates of change dynamically instead of purely carrying out a "mathematical process" which traditionally is a possibly meaningless symbolic manipulation process in the algebra of calculus! The concept of rate of change of a function is connected to the gradient of the curve of the function, which varies depending which part of the curve is being selected (ie. specific value of variables of x, y or t)
