CCSS IP Math II 2.4.3 Example 2

One hockey player passes a puck to a second player. The second player hits the puck instantly. The total meters, [math]m[/math], traveled by the hockey puck after [math]s[/math] seconds can be represented using the function [math]m = \begin{cases} 48s, & \mbox{if 0} \leq {s} \leq {1} \\ 40s + 8, & \mbox{if 1} < {s} < {2} \end{cases}[/math]. Create a graph to show the distance traveled by the puck after [math]s[/math] seconds.
