Mapping Diagram (Real) from Function Table Activity

A mapping diagram for a real function visualizes a function table with domain elements as points on a source axis, values of the function on a target axis and an arrow from each domain element (point) to the corresponding target element (point).[br] [br]Below is an example activity for a real mapping diagram and the traditional cartesian graph.[br]Choosing "Adjustable Arrows/Points" allows the user to move the mapping diagram arrows to match the table. The user can choose a function from the list or define their own function to become more familiar with this visualization. [br]The length of the domain interval and the number of data points are controlled by the two sliders, "length" and "n".
