Art and Geometry 1

Norman Shapiro has asked that teachers and students analyze their geometric drawings for uniqueness, the underlying algorithm, terminology, and the logic of the construction. This analysis leads to generalizations, part/whole relationships, and more formal math work. There are so many questions that could be asked, and avenues of exploration, that these drawings could be used for many worthwhile days of student activities. credit: Norman Shapiro http://mathforum.org/sarah/shapiro/shapiro.sequence.html
