Pick's Theorem

Let [b]P[/b] be a lattice polygon. Assume there are [b]I(P)[/b] lattice points in the interior of[b] P[/b], and[b] B(P)[/b] lattice points on its boundary. Let [b]A(P)[/b] denote the area of[b] P[/b]. Then [math]A(P) = I(P) + B(P)/2 - 1[/math]
