The Birthday Paradox Simulation

The birthday paradox is to find the probability that, in a group of N people, there is at least one pair of people who have the same birthday. In the simulation below, use the slider to set the value of N, the number of people in the group. Press the CLEAR DATA button to erase the dot plot. Click on the PLAY ICON in the lower left corner to start the simulation. The dot plot records the number of birthday matches for randomly generated groups of size N. The paradox is when N=23, the probability of having a birthday match is approximately 50%.
