GeoGebra Institute of MEI
Mathematics in Education and Industry (MEI) is a UK-based mathematics education charity. MEI supports teachers through a range of professional development opportunities, creates innovative teaching and learning resources and runs programmes such as the Department for Education funded Further Mathematics Support Programme (FMSP).

The GeoGebra Institute of MEI supports teachers through:

face-to-face and online workshops for teachers;

the design of free teaching and professional development materials for A level and GCSE Maths;

online support for GeoGebra users;

presentations at conferences.

Professional Development
MEI has extensive experience of delivering face-to-face and online GeoGebra courses for teachers as well as presenting at conference.
The FMSP frequently runs Geogebra face-to-face and online GeoGebra courses. Examples of the programmes for these can be seen at:

Resources
Lots of ideas and teaching resources are available at: http://www.mei.org.uk/geogebra. These include classroom activities with ideas for how students can enhance their understanding of mathematics through constructing their own files for investigations.
MEI makes extensive use of GeoGebra in the Integral online resources: http://integralmaths.org/
Examples of these can be seen at: http://www.geogebra.org/mei_resources
Use of GeoGebra in examinations
Further Pure Mathematics with Technology (FPT) is an exciting and innovative new A level (pre-university) unit of study that requires students to have access to technology for the teaching, learning and assessment. Students are required to have a computer with appropriate software in the examination and GeoGebra is one of the pieces of software that students can use.
