Ellipse (Locus Construction)
This GGB file allows students to see (firsthand) the actual definition of an ellipse. (i.e., set of all points in the plane, such that for any point, the sum of its distances from two fixed points is constant). The geometric argument as to why AE + ED is constant is pretty easy for students to complete.
