Self Review of Maps and Scales Problems

This applet can be used to auto generate maps and scales problems. Answers are also automatically generated. Useful for drill and practice for pupils who need al lot of support. Applet has been updated and tested ok on 16 Nov 2016. This applet also contain concept of unit conversion of area. Expected knowledge : 1 m = 100 cm. 1 km = 1000 m. Here we use a visual method to illustrate the conversions. Square shown with linear dimension in cm and in m. Students realise the areas in different units are actually equal, as they are calculated from the same square.
