I just completed my masters degree in Mathematics for Secondary Teachers (MMAT) at the University of the Virgin Islands where I completed my Bachelors of Science in Biology. I have been tutoring science and math in the Math and Science Center of University for the past two years. I have also had peer instructor experience in the SCI 100 course. Since graduating in May 2012, I have participated in several summer programs at the university, for example, the University Bound program where I taught the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, and Physics. In addition, I have experience teaching school age children about environmental conservation through snorkel clinics hosted by the St. Croix Environmental Association. I am currently teaching 7th grade mathematics at the John H. Woodson Junior High School.
