I work at the University of Hradec Králové in the Czech Republic. My courses are designed for future mathematics teachers. I cooperate with secondary schools, participates in the organization of the Mathematical Olympiad and in the education of mathematically gifted students. I prepare seminars for teachers and participates in the programs of Charles University in Prague, the Union of Czech Mathematicians and Physicists and school institutes for further education of teachers. My free time is devoted to my family, riding penny-farthing. I project a movies in the vintage cinema.
I was graduated from the University of Hradec Králove in the field of mathematics and art education. I successfully completed the doctoral studies at the Charles University in Prague. My thesis is focused on the history of mathematics education. I worked as a Fulbright visiting scholar at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S. in 2019/20. My research is concerned with flexibility in geometry as a part of mathematics education.
